The sequels to Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 will follow up the November 22, 2013 release of Catching Fire with yearly releases on November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015.

    I’m excited probably more for part 2 then 1 of Mokingjay.  I have to admit that after I red the first book in The Hunger Game Series I couldn’t put down the other books, I read the whole seies in 3 days.  I of course found myself more drawn to parts about Peeta, and I must comment (SPOILER ALERT) the end of the last book of the series I was much disappointed that they didn’t concentrate more on Katniss and Peeta’s romance as a way Katniss “came back”…. I liked the positive romance of their relationship more than I liked Peeta as the “lost, confused, rude, violent……..character” he ade into in most of the final book.  I think thats why I prefer books 2′s part 2 since she goes into that “love” she does have for him but is afraid to admit.

    i am a tribute thats how you call the hunger games trilogy fans. i have read the trilogy at least 2 or 3 times.:D

      I don’t mean to brag but I’ve read em all at least 20 ish times(lost count after 21) and I’ve memorized frontwards and backwards. But I’m literally obsessed tho. The characters just seem so real ya know?

    They should’ve made the hunger games and catching fire 2 parts. They r way to good and intricate to only be like 1 1/2 or 2 hours

    Ahhhh! I am,so excited. I can’t wait to see all the movies unfold and bring this amazing trilogy to life. Suzzane Collins has made the best series anyone will ever know and I thank her for that. I can’t wait until that never forgotten moment when fans are in line for mockingjay part two and then at the edge of there seats down to the final second. The Hunger GAmes will never be forgoten.

    Why are they taking so long to put the third book out as a movie? I think they are going to loose the interest of a lot of viewers.

      That’s exactly how they did it with Harry Potter.. Considering they are releasing the first of half of Mockingjay in 2014 a year after Catching Fire and then the second half a year after the first half.

    suzanne colllins soo needs to write a prequel. or even a prequel series like i have seen done before. it could be about the uprising that started the dark days and that war and about how they came up with the hunger games! i would so buy that book!

    I’ve read Mockingjay and I must say that if they split it up part 1 will be boring cause all their doing is sitting there in District 13 doing nothing. Also that’s a very good book series but they wanna make the movies like Harry Potter and Twilight and that series is NOT like them
