Jennifer Lawrence Seeking Pay Raise for ‘Catching Fire’

According to The Hollywood Reporter Jennifer Lawrence, who stars as Katniss Everdeen, is working towards a larger salary for this next film, after getting paid $500,000 up front for The Hunger Games.

The actress is in the final stages of negotiating a rich deal to return for Catching Fire that will pay her somewhere in the $10 million range, according to sources close to the deal. The figure is a combination of salary, bonuses and escalators. Depending on the box-office performance of the film, she could earn much more.

Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are apparently working on renegotiating their contracts too, but it’s speculated that their raises won’t be nearly as large as Lawrence’s. For the full story you can go here
