Haymitch’s Capitol Portrait Revealed
Remember that empty chair from yesterday? Well today it’s filled with Haymitch! This makes me a terrible guesser and our readers good ones, but the style through me off and I don’t always associate Haymitch with The Capitol. Another chair was posted too with the caption “Meet #YourFashionHero” and is to be filled later today. It’s probably Cinna right? Or could I be wrong again?!

Capitol Portraits Debut on Capitol Couture
It’s March 4th and Capitol Couture filled that empty chair with a portrait of the one and only Effie Trinket dressed head to toe in pink ruffles.
Another empty chair with the caption “Let’s hear some #ApplausePlease! ” was posted on the Capitol Couture Instagram, and was later filled on Fandango with Caesar Flickerman, with now pink hair:
One other empty chair was posted today too on the Instagram account with the following caption “#SipInStyle, only @IGNdotcom. Tomorrow at 10am PT”. From that caption my best guess would be that we’re going to see Cinna next, but it could be Portia. Who do you think it’ll be?

Revamped Capitol Couture? – Updated
Today on The Capitol PN Facebook page the following post showed up, along with a link back to CapitolCouture.pn “Chins up. Smiles on. Fashion-forward citizens of Panem, are you prepared to spring into the Capitol?”. When you click on the link the once open site dedicated to all things fashionable in the Capitol is now locked and requiring a password. Pretty mysterious if you ask me.
What surprises do you think they have in store for us this year? I’m guessing it might be focused on the outfits that Katniss and Peeta wear on the Victory Tour, and opening in spring based on the message.
UPDATE:If you trace the pattern that the moving line is making on the home page it will bring you to the following screen that has another teaser of an empty chair on it. (Note: I personally couldn’t get the pattern tracing to work in Firefox, but it did work in Safari) You also have the chance to subscribe if you haven’t already.
The page also has links to a new Capitol Couture Instagram page and the Facebook page, which now has the chair picture and the following message “Always Elegant. Always Prompt. Join us on March 4. #LadiesFirst”. So who’s excited for March 4th? Thanks to reader BlueMoon for pointing this out in the comments!

Video: Jack Nicholson Interrupts Jennifer Lawerence’s Post-Oscar Interview
If you haven’t seen this video yet, it’s definitely worth the watch. In it Jennifer Lawrence is interrupted by Jack Nicholson while talking to Good Morning America co-host George Stephanopoulos about how she felt when her name was read as the best actress winner. Nicholson semi-hijacking the interview is great, but Lawrence’s reaction to him stopping by is golden. Check it out below:

Liam Hemsworth Interview with Vanity Fair
Liam Hemsworth recently sat down with Vanity Fair editor Krista Smith to talk about how it was working on Catching Fire, the second installment of The Hunger Games trilogy. They also discuss his fiance Miley Cyrus a bit, as well as what he jobs he had before acting.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Interview on The Ellen Show
Yesterday Jennifer Lawrence was on the The Ellen Show to promote the new movie she’s in: “Silver Linings Playbook”. There’s a little bit of talk about Katniss and Catching Fire filming, but the stories about her mom her swim with sharks are pretty funny, and in my opinion worth watching.
If you want to continue watching the interview and find out about Jennifer’s pet cat, you can watch that video here.

“Hungry for ‘Hunger Games’” Makes a Thanksgiving Feast
In order to celebrate Thanksgiving, the ladies who make “Hungry for ‘Hunger Games’” picked out some Hunger Games themed recipes that could be part of a Thanksgiving day feast. There’s a soup, main course and a dessert all being demoed in the one episode. They also include a link in the video to last week’s episode that goes over the side dishes for the main course. Check it out below:
Since there were so many recipes in this episode, they did not put all the measurements for the dishes in the video, but don’t worry because the full recipes are in the video’s description. Let us know if you make any of these dishes, and Happy Thanksgiving to those readers who celebrate it.

How to Brew Up Some District 12 Pine Needle Tea
For all you Hunger Games fans out these who love to cook it’s time to get back into the kitchen because the web series “Hungry forHunger Games” is back with a second season and all new recipe demos. This first one is pretty simple tea that Katniss made in District 12, but a good way to get ease back into the kitchen.
While she didn’t mention it in the video, I’m sure Rachael rinsed off those pine needles some before steeping them in the water. Let us know if you make this tea and how it tastes!

Sam Claflin Cast as Finnick Odair in ‘Catching Fire’
SAM CLAFLIN CAST AS FINNICK IN LIONSGATE’S THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE
Santa Monica, CA, August 22, 2012- Lionsgate® and the filmmakers of THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE are pleased to announce that Sam Claflin has been cast in the role of Finnick in the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ worldwide smash hit novel Catching Fire. Charasmatic and clever, Finnick was a District 4 Hunger Games victor when he was fourteen.
After breaking out in his role as the romantic lead in last year’s PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES, Claflin starred in the box office smash SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN playing Prince William alongside Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth. He recently finished filming THE QUIET ONES opposite Jarred Harris, and MARY & MARTHA, in which he co-stars with Hilary Swank.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will be directed by Francis Lawrence, and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the second in a trilogy that has sold more than 50 million books in print and digital in the U.S. alone.
Lionsgate will release THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE on November 22, 2013.
So what do you think? Perfect Finnick? Hardly what you envisioned? Or you’ll have to wait for the movie to decide?
