Check out this interview with Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, and Jena Malone as they answer fan-submitted questions and some burning questions of their own, which range anywhere from a telepathically asked “What was your favorite part of shooting in Hawaii?” to the awkward “What issues did you have with your wetsuits?”
It’s just not a Jennifer interview if she isn’t talking about food and or pee. I thought it was cool to hear from the newcomers. Sam and Jena seem to fit right in, which is good considering this group will be together for two more films. And I had no idea Josh was half-cricket.
What were your favorite parts of the interview?
Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Willow Shields, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and director Francis Lawrence all looked smashing at the London premiere of ‘Catching Fire’ on Monday night!
More photos and videos after the break! Love LOVE the photos of Jennifer, Liam and Josh!
Check out this clip posted on the Official Hunger Games Movie Facebook page yesterday night entitled “Your job is to be a distraction…”
It looks like one of the scenes from District 11 when Katniss and Peeta are on the Victory Tour, and I absolutely love the intensity of the moment. Who else is excited to see more?!

The Catching Fire cast is featured in this month’s Vanity Fair! Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, and Elizabeth Banks all looked capitally amazing in Vanity Fair. Here’s part of the Vanity Fair interview with director Francis Lawrence.
“One of the big overarching themes for all the books is this idea of the consequences of war, and one of the unfortunate consequences of war is post-traumatic stress,” explains Francis Lawrence, who directed The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, out this November. (His previous films include I Am Legend and Water for Elephants.) In the new movie, not only have young leads Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson aged nearly two years, but also their characters, Katniss and Peeta, have returned to their home district haunted by what they’ve seen and done. “That’s one of the first things you see in the movie,” the director adds. “They’re changed people because of having been in the Games.”
We saw how it affected Haymitch in the Hunger Games. How will it affect Katniss and Peeta, their families, their District? I can’t wait to see it.
The gorgeous Jennifer Lawrence is the featured cover story for the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK. Check out these stunning photos of Jennifer and part of her interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“I was young. It was just the kind of s–t that actresses have to go through,” Jennifer recalls. “Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn’t lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet.”
Someone recently brought up that incident to Jennifer, which she says still stings.
“They thought that because of the way my career had gone, it wouldn’t still hurt me. That somehow, after I won an Oscar, I’m above it all. ‘You really still care about that?’ Yeah. I was a little girl,” Lawrence explains. “I was hurt. It doesn’t matter what accolades you get. I know it’ll never happen to me again. If anybody even tries to whisper the word ‘diet’, I’m like, ‘You can go f–k yourself.’”
Go Jennifer! Yeah, she can also wave her Oscar in that person’s face, too. I’m so happy to hear Jennifer stand up for herself.
You can pick up this issue of Harper’s Bazaar on October 3rd!
